During her time at the University of New England, Dr. Lamoureux excelled academically while demonstrating a commitment to leadership and service. She was a member of the prestigious Sigma Sigma Phi honor society, served as Treasurer of the organization, and held the role of Secretary/Treasurer of her medical school class. Dr. Lamoureux was also deeply involved in community outreach, mentoring at-risk youth, and co-organizing the inaugural Biddeford Free Clinic Turkey Trot to support healthcare for underserved populations.

Dr. Lamoureux completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, where she honed her skills in patient care, disease management, and health promotion. Her dedication and leadership earned her multiple accolades, including:
